I'd like to preface these lists by stating that I was twelve years old when 2000 dawned, so I probably missed a lot of important goings-ons in the earlier part of the decade. Still, though, this is my blog, so deal. Also: none are in any particular order.

personally, I don't know how Synecdoche could possibly trump Adaption, a movie that is pretty much wholly perfect plot-wise and is a hell of a lot less depressing. Also, I still haven't watched The Comeback, but really? Top Ten worthy? If you can count the Sopranos then I think you can count South Park, as it has really sustained and taken on a new life in this new and crazy century. Anyway, good list, good list. I feel like you need a 5th category to round it out though. Liiiiiike top ten crazy media/celebrity/news/crazes or something. I dunno.

Nope, South Park doesn't count. And I wouldn't have picked it anyway because the last several seasons suck so hardcore!!! And yes, The Comeback is totally Top Ten worthy. It's a gem.
